Meta, in partnership with Ray-Ban, added built-in displays to their latest smart glasses. It’s clear the product is still in its early stages from what we could see (or not see) in live demo, but Meta seems to be pushing the concept to its limits which is exciting.
They also announced a collaboration with Oakley to launch sport-focused smart glasses. These are designed for action sports, offering video recording, performance tracking, and real-time stats. Imagine skiing or mountain biking without needing a helmet cam or handheld phone, it could be much more practical.


WhatsApp rolled out a live translation feature. By long-pressing on a message, you can instantly translate it. It’s now available with 6 languages on Android and 19 on iOS, including Turkish on iOS.
The Alibaba Qwen team has been busy, releasing two new open-source models, a travel-planning AI product and performance upgrades for faster models.
