Thinking Machines, founded earlier this year by former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati with a $2 billion seed investment, has finally launched its first product after five months of silence. The product is called Tinker and provides infrastructure for training and fine-tuning large language models. It’s built on the idea that everyone will want to train their own models and positioning Thinking Machines as a potential AWS for LLMs.

OpenAI’s announced several new features for developers on its DevDay event.
ChatGPT can now run third-party applications directly inside the chat interface.
In the first phase, users can already try apps such as Canva, Figma, Coursera, Expedia, and Spotify. OpenAI also released a new SDK that allows anyone to create apps that appear inside ChatGPT.
