Anthropic Is Going Public

Anthropic filed for an IPO right after closing its Series H at a $965 billion valuation. The company hasn’t set a share count or price yet.

This is shaping up to be the year of big public offerings. SpaceX is set to go public next week at a record valuation. OpenAI is preparing too. Watching Anthropic — which was far behind OpenAI in the AI race not long ago — multiply its revenue this year and now be on track to go public at roughly the same time (possibly even before) is a genuinely interesting development in hindsight.

The Startup That Cleans Your Home for Free

A German startup made headlines this week for cleaning people’s homes in New York for free — in exchange for fitting their cleaners with camera-equipped “magic hats” that record the entire process and use the footage for AI training data.

It caught our attention even more when we found out the founder and CEO is Turkish: Bercan Kılıç. The company is called MicroAGI. The business model is simple but polarizing: you get a free clean, they get the training data. Smart? Ethical? A bit of both.
